Education represents the basic factor in the transmission and creation of new cultural and general human values, in the development of human capital, in the formation of national consciousness and identity and has a primary role in creating the premises for sustainable human development and building a knowledge-based society. The quality of education largely determines the quality of life and creates opportunities for the full realization of the capabilities of each citizen.
Bachelor programs are divided into full-time and part-time studies. Part-time study programs require an additional year of study. The bachelor’s degree is awarded to graduates who have defended the final bachelor’s thesis. Graduates hold a bachelor’s degree in a specific field of study.
Master’s programs are usually organized on a daily basis and end with the defense of the master’s thesis. Graduates who have successfully defended their master’s thesis are holders of a master’s degree in their chosen field of study and specialization.
Doctoral programs are conducted through full scientific research, professional activities and creative activities, with a duration of 3 years for full-time studies and 4 years for part-time studies. Doctoral studies conclude with a public presentation of an original research thesis, evaluation by an accredited Scientific Committee. The holder of a doctoral degree obtains the title of doctorate in a specific scientific or artistic field.
