Today, the Coordination Council meeting of the Municipal Program “START-UP for YOUTH AND MIGRANTS” took place, implemented by the Chisinau City Hall through the Municipal Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CMDA).
Out of 44 submitted projects, 35 eligible applications were reviewed, and 27 projects were approved for funding.
The total value of approved grants is 5.234 million MDL, with total estimated investments in the municipal economy of 22.3 million MDL.
The funded businesses will generate 188 new jobs.
The approved projects cover a wide range of sectors: food industry and artisanal production, HoReCa and local bakeries, IT and digital platforms, design, marketing, accounting services, and AI-based solutions.
Through this program, the Chisinau City Hall and CMDA continue to support youth entrepreneurship and the reintegration of migrants into the local economy — a direct investment in the sustainable development of the capital.
