The meeting will take place at Palatul Republicii (Str. Maria Cebotari, 16) between September 30 and October 1, 2022, where speakers and guests from different countries will participate, to discuss the investment and development potential of Chisinau.
The event will bring together representatives of the business, academic and associative environment, economic experts, foreign investors and donors, as well as official delegations of twinned or partner cities and comes to emphasize joint efforts aimed at identifying solutions and opportunities that contribute to the continuous development of the capital.
In this context, the Mayor General, Ion Ceban mentioned that international speakers, from Moldova, but also from abroad, will address topics related to the digital transformation of the city, mobility, urban tourism, the real estate market and other topics relevant to the municipality.
“We will launch for the first time, during the forum, the investment map of the municipality of Chisinau, which contains over 60 attractive investment objects from the real estate, land, social-educational, entertainment, etc. category, thus we aim to attract as many financial sources as possible for the development the city”, concluded the mayor of the capital.
At the forum, the Development Strategy of the city of Chisinau – 2030 will be presented, as well as other sectoral strategies: Mobility Strategy, Tourism Development Strategy, but also the initiatives: Chisinau – Green City, Chisinau – Smart City.
At the same time, foreign guests will talk about the experience of other countries in urban development on all dimensions and will share the good practices implemented in the cities of Grenoble, Lublin, Warsaw, Madrid, Valencia and others. The Chisinau Economic Forum comes to confirm once more that the city is open for an innovative and environmentally friendly urban development, a fact that generates new investment opportunities in the services necessary to achieve this goal.
