During his trip to the United States of America, the General Mayor, Ion Ceban, visited the City Hall of Seattle, Washington state.
Ion Ceban had a meeting with Greg Wong, the vice mayor of Seattle, and the discussion focused on the perspective of collaboration between the parties.
“There are many ideas and projects that can be realized jointly, at the same time we can take over the best practices for Chisinau. In the same way, we propose discussions with the business environment as well as with the representatives of other fields of activity”, concluded the mayor of Chisinau.
Also, the mayor of the capital, together with the vice-mayor Ilie Ceban, participated in a series of events organized by Seattle City Hall, which aimed to involve citizens in volunteer actions for the city.
It is worth mentioning that Ion Ceban also met with our fellow citizens who work and live in Seattle. The mayor informed them about the projects carried out in recent years in Chisinau.
