Chisinau City Hall, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center of the General Education, Youth and Sport Directorate and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Council held the Chisinau Municipal Youth Forum on June 8, 2022. The official launch of the forum took place with the participation of the guests of honor: Ion CEBAN, Mayor General of Chisinau, Angela CUTASEVICI, Andrei PAVALOI and Alex PETROV, UNICEF Moldova.
In the first part of the forum, the results of the sociological survey with the participation of young people were presented in order to identify the needs, aspirations and difficulties faced by young people in Chisinau. It was also discussed about the co-financing program for youth projects of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports and about the assistance program for Youth Centers and Youth Councils in the municipality of Chisinau.
The Forum was attended by representatives of municipal structures, youth organizations, youth councils, student councils, initiative groups, student associations. Within the forum, 4 workshops were held, where young people had the opportunity to actively participate in the process of evaluating the results, thus ensuring effective involvement in the development of local public policies and their participation in the decision-making process at the level.
