On March 18, 2025, the Head of the General Directorate of Economy, Trade, and Tourism, Mr. Roman VITIUC, participated in a meeting with ARP TFI representatives as part of the Chișinău Municipality delegation.
ARP TFI is part of ARP SA – the Polish Industrial Development Agency, founded in 1991.
During the meeting, discussions focused on funding opportunities for investment projects in Chișinău in the following areas:
- renewable energy production and distribution;
- waste management and biogas production;
- circular economy and green industry development;
- green transformation of infrastructure and public utilities.
The next meeting is scheduled for April 2025, where the municipality will present specific projects for ARP TFI’s consideration.
ARP TFI, in cooperation with Polish and international financial institutions, is the main manager of the “Polish Green Fund”, which:
- mobilizes financial resources from the EU for green energy investments;
- supports energy transition and the development of distributed energy sources;
- invests in low- and middle-income countries, with a particular focus on the EU’s Eastern Partnership, Moldova, and Ukraine;
- prioritizes commercially viable projects in the private sector;
- finances infrastructure projects with scalability and co-investment potential;
- offers investments in equity (minority and majority shares) and debt financing for businesses;
- supports the development of capital markets and long-term investment products.
- Financing range: €5-10 million per project.
