The project „Development of Ecological Competences for the Greening of public schools in the municipality of Chisinau and the Promotion of Dual Education for students”, implemented for the first time in the capital’s educational institutions between October 2021 and April 2022 – has come to an end. Representatives of 22 funded schools that implemented greening projects „Green City School” were awarded. 64 schools from the capital applied for the competition.
Thus, within the Project „Development of Ecological Competences for the Greening of public schools in the municipality of Chisinau and the Promotion of Dual Education for students” the results were obtained:
- About 5,000 teaching and managerial staff from public primary and secondary, extracurricular and special educational institutions in the municipality of Chisinau were included in the training and instruction process
- 400 teachers were certified as trainers in the field of school greening
- About 50,000 students from beneficiary schools of the project were involved in greening activities
- More than 5,000 students from secondary education institutions cycle I and II, extracurricular and special in the municipality of Chisinau, as well as other interested young people, who participated in the Fair for students „Try your job”
