Today, Roman Vitiuc, Head of the General Directorate of Economy, Trade and Tourism, participated in the signing of a Partnership Agreement on cooperation and the exchange of good practices in the field of consumer protection in the municipality of Chișinău, together with Mihaela Pascal, Executive Director of the European Consumer Centre of the Republic of Moldova.
The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation and promote a fair, transparent and responsible commercial environment where consumer rights are respected.
The partnership will focus on informing businesses about consumer rights and responsibilities, organizing information sessions, training activities and round tables, exchanging good practices and experience, as well as implementing joint information and awareness campaigns.
A well-informed trader is a more responsible partner, while an informed consumer is better able to exercise and protect their rights.
The General Directorate of Economy, Trade and Tourism will continue to support initiatives that contribute to consumer protection and the development of responsible, transparent and trust-based trade.
