Chisinau City Hall is launching the most ambitious program to support young people and migrants in creating their own business. The program stimulates entrepreneurship among young people and migrants in the capital by facilitating the launch and development of businesses, which will generate new jobs.
Starting today, young people can apply for entrepreneurial training courses to acquire the necessary knowledge to start a business.
All trainings are free and will take place between 04.09 – 22.09.2023, in the premises of ASEM, USM, America House Chisinau.
The young people will learn the legislative and normative aspects of entrepreneurial activity management, business and financial management, the fiscal framework and accounting records, online marketing and digital literacy, etc.
Applications can be submitted on www.startup.chisinau.md/curs/ , between 25.07 – 25.08.2023.
At the end of the courses, young people and migrants will be able to submit their files to the “Start-up for young people and migrants” program.
Beneficiaries of the Program can be young future entrepreneurs, refugees and migrant workers between the ages of 18 and 40. The financial support will be granted by the Chisinau City Hall in the form of a grant. Thus, with a contribution of only 30 percent, young people and migrants can obtain non-refundable financial support of up to 200 thousand lei, or the compensation of the value of the interest on loans from the last 24 months.
The Priority Funding Areas of the Program are:
- the information and communication technology industry; electromechanics; the agro-food industry and catering industry; light industry; creative industry; tourism; health and beauty; professional, scientific or technical activities; energy efficiency, agriculture, etc.;
- businesses that will carry out production activities or provide services;
- businesses that contain innovative activities or intend to implement technological and know-how transfer projects;
- businesses that offer services/products to third-party companies.
The examination of the files will take place between 25.10 – 25.11.2023, and the winners will be announced on November 27.
