On March 26<\/strong>, Mayor General Ion Ceban<\/strong> participated in the Social Summit of Cities<\/strong>, organized by the Eurocities<\/strong> network at the European Parliament in Brussels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n According to the Mayor, the event marked six years since the launch of the “Inclusive Cities for All” campaign<\/strong>, an initiative through which 61 cities from 23 European countries<\/strong> transform the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights<\/strong> into concrete local policies, directly impacting the lives of over 100 million citizens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “During the session ‘The Challenge of Building an Inclusive, Safe, and Competitive Europe,’ I emphasized that investments in education, healthcare, housing, and social services are essential for prosperity, innovation, and stability. Cities must be supported with resources and autonomy to effectively address today\u2019s challenges,”<\/strong> said Ion Ceban.<\/p>\n Since 2024<\/strong>, Chi\u0219in\u0103u has been a full member of Eurocities<\/strong>, actively participating in the largest urban network in Europe. \u2013 Full subsidy for extended school programs (approximately 30,000 children annually \u2013 unprecedented in the country);
\u2013 Summer camps, clubs, grants for youth and startups;
\u2013 Digital education projects (Online Education, eSchool, eKindergarten);
\u2013 Support for talented youth, athletes, and specialists.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Support for assisted human reproduction;
\u2013 Free dental services;
\u2013 Oral health programs for children;
\u2013 Medical devices for the visually impaired;
\u2013 Prevention programs for HIV, hepatitis, and other communicable diseases.<\/p>\n
